The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun πΌπ΅π, π²πΎπ½, has approved the appointment of Dr. Onasanya Mobolaji Agbolade, an Ijebu Indigene from Ijebu North East Local Government.
Dr. Onasanya Mobolaji Agbolade who is also an Engineer until his new appointment, was a Chief lecturer at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Yaba College of Technology, Lagos.
The Chairman, Governing Council, Alhaja Salimot Badru, in the presence of other members of the Governing Council announced the new appointment of Dr. Onasanya Mobolaji Agbolade as the new Rector of the Polytechnic at a press conference held at the Polytechnic Campus.
Present at the occasion are members of the Governing Council: Chief Jide Ojuko, Chief Dipo Akingbade, Honourable Muftau Obanla, Mrs M.O Akinola-Okereafor, the Management: Dr. S.T Akindele, (Acting Deputy Rector), Mrs. Akimat Ogunneye, (Ag. Registrar), Dr. Kehinde Ogunbote, (the Polytechnic Librarian), Mr Ibikunle Idowu, (Ag. Bursar), Comrade Afolabi Kotoye, (ASUP Chairman, AAPOLY Chapter) , Comrade Yekini Ashafe (Zonal Coordinator, ASUP Zone C) , Comrade Titus Ekundayo, (former ASUP Chariman, AAPOLY Chapter) Mr. Aro Adebisi, (General Secretary, ASUP), Mr. Seun Onadeko, (Council Affairs Officer), while the event was covered by the press crew from Ogun State Television, Nigerian Tribune and AAPOLY Media.
Alhaja Salimot Badru, Chairman Governing Council officially handed the letter of appointment to the new Rector, Dr. Onasanya Mobolaji Agbolade in the presence of the Management, press crew, family, friends and well wishers.
The event ended with photograph sessions and response from the new Rector.
