Mr Idowu Ibikunle Babatola

Mr. Ibikunle ldowu was born into an Anglican family of Late Pa. J. M Idowu and Late Mrs M. A Idowu of No 1, Agbodu Compound, Egbe Ijebu, Odogbolu L.G.A, Ogun State.on 3rd March 1973.

He attended St. James’s Primary School, Mobalufon and left in 1985. He then proceeded to Ijebu-Ode Grammar School for his Secondary School Education which he completed in 1991. In his quest for further knowledge, he was offered admission to study National Diploma in Accountancy at Ogun state Polytechnic between 1995 and 1996. Young, vibrant and energetic kunle was full of aspiration to get to the peak of his God given profession and knowing fully well that he was coming from science class background which could be one of the limiting factors to doing well in commercial/business course, enrolled himself in one of the leading ICAN Tuition centers within Abeokuta metropolis; Learning Success Associate for ICAN Accounting Technician Scheme (ATS) lecture and Examination. Though not an easy task to combine ND program with Professional examination but, by the grace of God he was able to scale through within a space of time.

Mr . Idowu Ibikunle started his Accounting Profession career with Metalum Limited, Wempco Road, Ogba, Lagos as Trainee Accountant where he had his mandatory one year Industrial Training. He later return to Moshood Abiola Polytecnic (formerly Ogun State Poly technic,) Ojere, Abeokuta to bagged Higher National Diploma in Accountancy in 1999.He had his Post Graduate Diploma in Economics at Lagos State University in 2003/2004 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010.

During his one year Industrial Training in Lagos, he was opportune to undergo Certificate Course in Computer Utilization & Data Processing at the foremost DEBIS Professional Computer Institute, Ikeja, Lagos.

After the One year mandatory NYSC program with Dass Local Government Secretariat, Bauchi State, Ibikunle had his article ship with the following Accounting firms within lkeja axis-Adebayo Ayoade & Co (Elephant Cement House) as well as Segun Samuel & Co (Simbiat Abiola Way) where he acquired various training in accounting, auditing, taxation and business advisory.. He had worked business organization where he take the lead as Chief Accountant/ Admin. Manager where he contributed his wealth of knowledge to the development and growth of the business. Among which are; Above Ventures Limited (a Computer Sales Outlet at Sawyer Street, Tinubu Square, Lagos) and Colour Connection Limited ( a Ligthographic Printer at Oguntona Strrrt, 1st Pedro, Gbagada, Lagos).

Mr. Idowu Ibikunle joined the service of Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu- Igbo in June, 2008 as Accountant II and rose to the position of Chief Accountant. He is presently the Acting Bursar of the Institution
