AAPOLY Holds 15th Matriculation Ceremony-Rector Charges Students on Peace and Academic Excellence
Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State held her 15th Matriculation ceremony on Friday 25th June,2021. The event which took place at the Polytechnic auditorium, was graced by stake holders in the education sector in the State, Management of the institution, matriculating students including their parents and loved ones.
In a speech by the Rector, Professor Jumoke Bilesanmi-Awoderu, she gave thanks to God and also welcomed the new NDI and HNDI (full-time and part-time) students, noting that they are very important stakeholders of the Polytechnic who should be carried along as the Polytechnic continues to not only reposition itself in infrastructural development, but also improve academic content and implementation of the curriculum for qualitative Polytechnic education.
The Rector charged the new students to make the best of the conducive and peaceful academic environment of the Polytechnic as they strive to excel in their respective fields of study.
In her admonition, she however reiterated that the institution has zero-tolerance for social vices. Hence, students should refrain from them and use their time judiciously in achieving success in their academic pursuits.
